Chobe Under Canvas - 3 Days

Your glamping safari experience starts with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. This is one of the highlights of the trip as you will have the opportunity to get up close to some fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles and scores of elephants and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst.

After a delicious lunch at Coffee Buzz restaurant, you will drive into the park in a customised 4x4 safari vehicle for an afternoon safari drive, making your way slowly to your private glamping camp setup.

This is the best time to see Chobe National Park’s large herbivores coming down to the river to drink. Enjoy a Sundowner with some yummy snacks and take in the magic of the African Sunset.

Return to camp for dinner and a chat around the campfire. After some hearty bush cuisine, you can listen to the sounds of the bush around you as you lie in bed in your ensuite tent and drift off to sleep.

Wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day), and after a light breakfast  head off on an early morning safari drive. This time of day, while it's still cool, is best for finding predators.

As the day heats up, return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest, or take a refreshing bucket shower.

When the day starts to cool off, enjoy an afternoon high tea and another afternoon safari drive.

Return to Camp after sundowners for a reflective fireside chat and a hearty three course bush dinner, prepared by your expert bush chef in camp, as always.

On your last day, after a light breakfast followed by an early morning safari drive, return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower and pack. You then leave camp for a final Chobe River boat cruise before returning to Kasane/Kazungula.
