After a delicious breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your charter flight into Tarangire National Park where you will be transferred to the stunning Mpingo Ridge Lodge. Your spectacular lodge is perched on a ridge with the most incredible views over Tarangire. From here you will enjoy guided safari drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles in this lesser known but fabulous national park with its massive baobab tress and acacia studded grasslands.

After a morning safari drive and breakfast you are transferred to Tarangire Airstrip for a charter flight across the Great Rift Valley to Manyara Airstrip. From there you will be transferred by road into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Proceed up the side of the extinct volcano to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive along Crater Rim to your tented camp which will be your home for the next 2 nights.

On your full day, get up early to make the most out of your visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. The Crater, said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, is known for its spectacular beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife. After an incredible day looking for the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species, including large herds of zebra and wildebeest, return to your lodge before dusk, and in time to freshen up before dinner.

Ngorongoro Tented Camp or similar

After breakfast depart Ngorongoro with a transfer to Manyara Airstrip where a charter flight will take you to the Serengeti National Park. Where you go in the Serengeti will depend the time of year and the movements of the migration herds.

January - March: You will fly to Ndutu, in the Southern Serengeti for 3 nights stay in area where the migration herds are gathering and calving.

April - June: You will fly to the Central Serengeti for a 3-night stay.

July - October: You will fly to the Northern Serengeti for a 3-night stay where you will hopefully be able to experience the migration herds.

November - December: You will fly to the Central Serengeti for a 3-night stay.

Enjoy two full days in the Serengeti with guided morning and evening safari drives in open safari vehicles. Serengeti National Park is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries on the planet covering an extensive 15,000 square kilometres. Its landscapes depict the mythical 'Lion King' image of Africa with its large spaces, profound blue skies dotted with clouds, cool sunrises and fire-red sunsets.
