Namibia is the perfect destination for a self-drive safari and deserves to be explored as a stand alone destination. Enjoy this relaxed self-drive itinerary that takes in all of the country’s highlights and also allows you the time to discover your own! The first half of your trip explores Namibia's south and includes the red dunes of the Kalahari, the awe-inspiring Fish River Canyon, the wild Atlantic coast at Luderitz, the mining ghost town of Kolmanskop and spectacular Sossusvlei, the highest sand dunes in the world! Heading north, take in the quint-essentially German seaside town of Swakopmund and the epic desert landscapes of Damaraland and rock engravings of Twyfelfontein before finally visiting Etosha, one of the world’s great wildlife-viewing destinations, with the ephemeral Etosha Pan at its centre. With its unrivalled landscapes, cultures and abundance of wildlife, Namibia will certainly stay long in the memory!

A word of advice - travel distances in Namibia, whilst not being huge, will take longer than Google Maps suggest, as the majority of roads you will travel on are gravel.

Choose between two accommodation grades - Standard or Upgrade. Alternatively mix and match accommodation from each grade to create your perfect holiday. Interactive itineraries for each accommodation grade can be viewed below.
