30+ Years Africa Travel Experience ~ ATIA Accredited

Why Travel Africa Your Way?

Behind every itinerary is a team that's actually been there.

With more than 30 years of experience travelling in Africa and working in travel, Travel Africa Your Way designs carefully considered African journeys — built on relationships you can't book online, knowledge you can't simply Google, and a safety net you'll be grateful for when something doesn't go according to plan.

Real people, real conversations.

We believe the best journeys start with a conversation.

Meet with us in person, talk to us on the phone, or connect with us via Teams — whatever works best for you. We take the time to understand how you like to travel, what matters to you and what you want your African journey to feel like.

Travel Africa Your Way is ATIA accredited, giving you the confidence of dealing with an established Australian travel business.

We know the people, not just the properties.

Every camp, lodge, guide and driver we recommend has been chosen for a reason. We've stayed there, know the owners, or have worked with them for years. That means we can tell you which room really has the view, which guide is exceptional with children, where the food is genuinely memorable, and which seemingly impressive property isn't quite what it promises. That's the difference between finding a property and knowing whether it's right for you.

Your itinerary is designed, not assembled.

A great African journey is a puzzle with dozens of moving parts. Flight connections. Park permits. Seasonal wildlife movements. Road-transfer times. Health considerations. Visa requirements. The realities of travelling between remote camps. And, most importantly, how all of those pieces work together to create a journey that flows seamlessly and feels effortless.

We've solved that puzzle hundreds of times.

Our job isn't simply to put together a list of beautiful places. It's to understand how you want to travel, what matters to you, and then design an itinerary where every part works together.

You get real support, not just a PDF and weblink.

Every Travel Africa Your Way client receives a comprehensive information pack and our free TravelKey trip app — with property information, packing guides, park information, emergency contacts and your complete itinerary in your pocket.

Your itinerary can be accessed offline and updated in real time if anything changes.

And we're there when you're away — for real.

Flight delayed? Weather closes a remote airstrip? A transfer needs to be rearranged?

You have a direct 24/7 number to call, and a human who knows your trip is there to help — not a call centre trying to work out who you are and what you're doing in Africa.

This is the part our clients tell us matters most.

Our Safari Design & Planning Process

Every Travel Africa Your Way itinerary is individually researched and designed.

We spend time understanding what matters to you, checking availability with our trusted partners, working through routing and logistics, selecting the right properties and experiences, and costing the journey properly.

We will provide your with a detailed proposal and digital itinerary and make any adjustments needed until it is just right.
